Yulia works in several mediums including graphite, acrylics and oils but ink is her primary mode of making art. Her main emphasis in teaching any medium is on making sure that her students understand the basic concepts of drawing, such as sighting, negative spaces, tonal values, perspective, etc. Her main strength lies in identifying an area where her students struggle and filling in gaps in their knowledge. In Yulia’s structured classes solid drawing/painting foundation is balanced with wild and free artistic exploration. Art is fun!
"Painting is truly living in the moment". It is through art that your eyes see the world in a spectrum of color.
